Open Technology hits the headlines

24 September 2013

Open Technology’s latest project with Network Rail and Southwest trains has been hitting the headlines lately with work underway to install lighting controls at the UK’s busiest train station. Clapham Junction is the latest in a series of installations that has seen Open Technology’s LiGO system introduced at 25 stations and train maintenance depots across the Wessex Route.

BBC South got in touch to find out more about how LiGO was helping to reduce energy consumption at the stations and sent their transport correspondent Paul Clifton along to Southampton. You can watch the BBC feature here.
