iPads to go!18 September 2012
During the Association of University Engineers (AUE) hosted by Keele University (5th to 7th September) Open Technology gave away a free iPad to one very lucky winner.
To be in with a chance of winning, attendees of the AUE conference were invited to visit Keele Hub for Sustainability at Keele University, where our LiGO control and monitoring and targeting and display solution has recently been installed. Over 25 delegates came to visit the Hub courtesy of the Open Technology sponsored mini-bus! Delegates were given a live interactive demonstration of how LiGO works to save energy and reduce costs.
Keele University Sustainability Hub acts as a focus for the research into, teaching of, and management for sustainability and green technology that takes place at Keele University. It is a means to bring all these different activities in disparate units together and then to communicate the innovations and implications out to the rest of campus, businesses and the wider community.
Paul Richards, Senior Operations Manager for Estates and Development at Keele University randomly selected the winner and presented them with the iPad, along with Harvey Roft, Managing Director of Synapsys Solutions and Chris Bedford, Managing Director of Open Technology. The lucky winner drawn was The lucky winner drawn was Alan Breeze of Portsmouth University.
