Working with the Education Business Partnership

Open Technology & Synapsys Solutions have recently started to work with the West Sussex Education Business Partnership which is dedicated to developing links between education and business to the benefit of both to raise standards of achievement and prepare young people for the world of work. Group Marketing Manager, Matt Gardner recently ran a Marketing Workshop at the EBP’s Grow Your Event in Crawley where students and business people worked together to meet a marketing challenge set by a business delegate and provide some new and fresh marketing solutions. “Having recently worked with the West Sussex EBP team I can only applaud their efforts to bridge the gap between education and business with innovative ideas. From my point of view it is personally rewarding to work with young people in a business setting and to realise the exceptional talent and aspirations they have. By working with the EBP it gives businesses the opportunity to see and interact with the future talent that will be their employees. On a personal level it has given me the opportunity to develop my management skills and this is an area of opportunity for businesses and the development of their employees.
